Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Lexaro mobile application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Use of the App

Lexaro is a general-audience word game available on iOS and Android. No account or sign-in is required — your progress is stored locally on your device. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms.

3. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, gameplay mechanics, artwork, and content, is owned by Lexaro and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 2, no other rights are granted, and you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

4. In-App Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases (for example, hints or items to help complete a level). All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their respective payment and refund policies — we do not directly process or store your payment information.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code or assets; use cheats, exploits, automation software (bots), or hacks to interfere with the App; or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lexaro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (for example, liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence).

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App, and delete it from your device, at any time.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
